Majorelle Garden

Arriving to Morocco, I visited Majorelle Garden. This beautiful place, took forty years of dedication for French painter, Jacques Majorelle to create this astonishing place. I walked through exotic plants and unique flowers, I could see pools and streams filled with water lilies and lotus flowers.

Ukunda, Kenya, Day 2

Second day, I visited the Kaya Kinodo Sacred Forest. This forest is an indigenous sacred forest. It is managed through a set of traditional rules and regulations (taboos) enforced by a council of elders as it is used to be since back in the day. I spent my day walking around the forest, looking at the beautiful nature of this place. I also interacted with some locals and asked them about their traditions and culture, this is what I came up with. This sacred forest is mainly used by the Kaya Kinondo culture to commune with their ancestral spirits through worship and sacrificial offerings.
